It is always good news when a
public figure comes out as gay. Always. The fact that Ken Mehlman is a Republican is a huge boon to the gay rights movement. I hope that his coming out makes it easier for other Republicans to come forward and live their lives openly, honestly and then joins the fight for marriage equality.
Ken, enjoy your new toaster oven!
