Lost & Found

Aaron and I ordered our rings a few weeks ago.  The jeweler is from Etsy and the rings are damascus steel or mokume gane (similar steel work to create these).  They are made the same way Samurai swords are made and the result is a beautiful, totally original ring.

So, we have been waiting and waiting and waiting.  The other day Aaron got an email that the rings would be delivered on a certain date.  No rings.  They were delivered to the address on our Paypal account.  Unfortunately, that address was our old address.  So, off to the Post Office we go.

The clerk looked up the tracking number and said, "That package was delivered yesterday at 11:51am."

NNNNNOOOOOOOOOO!

He had us speak to a supervisor.  She was very nice.  Said she would see what she could do.  I had little hope, but I didn't want Aaron to know that.

Two hours later she called.  The rings were found and were on their way back to the Post Office.

About a half hour ago I met Aaron at the Post Office.

Not only are the rings exactly what we had hoped for, but they fit perfectly.  Just amazing craftsmanship and they are just gorgeous.
