Your soul mate is considered not fitting in with the current "moral code" as created by us politicians. The leaders of this society, the moral and upright figures that we are, are here to protect you from yourself and your obvious inability to make sound decisions.
Let us protect you. Let us make choices for you. Waging war, levying taxes... that's only part of the job. Our real job is legislating morality. Because that's what gets our names in the paper. It makes people pay attention. It turns their attention away from our failing war, from our bloated budgets and incredible deficits. It deflects the heat so nicely.
Your marriage will be deleted. It'll be like it never existed, so you won't have to deal with those pesky divorce attorneys (you were doomed to fail anyhow, I mean most of us have tried 2 or 3 times).
Of course, your medical insurance may have recourse to receive payment for any and all medical expenses incurred by your "dependant". I'm sure they will be willing to work out a payment plan or put a lien on your home.
Should you have any questions or comments, please don't reply to this. Your calls will not be answered, you will not be permitted a meeting. You have no voice. You simply do not have the power to overturn a vote. Tyranny of the majority is the ruler of the land. We still wonder how women ever got the right to vote.
