Cleaning Tip!
Okay, so our house is straight out of the 1970s. Its a rental property and spending big bucks on cleaning or refurbishing our old tub is sorta silly. I just found this article.
Easy-Off Oven Cleaner for porcelain tubs folks! I guess you leave it on for a few hours and rinse it off. Voila! Super clean, super awesome, super cheap. Now that's my kind of super!
Be sure to ventilate though. Fumes can be nasty I guess. I'll let you know if I destroy our tub or have stumbled upon a life-changing tip!

did this work? i have a very, very old porcelain tub that needs to be done.. it'd be awesome if it worked!
