Pushing it aside for a moment of triumph
So in 32 days I need to have all this stuff done? HA! I need a glass of wine.
Things still to do? Finalize photographers, rings, finalize menu and linens, one more dress for the girls, shoes for both, suits for the boys, get Aaron's suit cleaned/pressed, see about his shoes, boys need haircuts, I need a cut and color and my God does my daughter need a haircut.
But today? I'm more focused on a wee bit of news we received.
My oldest child, who recently turned 18, was accepted at her college of choice. Great news yes? Well, add a $32,000 scholarship and you have one very, very proud mom right here!!!
Also, the college is within driving distance so this makes me pretty happy too.
My God I love my kids.
