Two Kinds of People

There are two kinds of people in my life:

Those who knit

Those who do not knit

Further, these can be split this way:

Knitters

Folks who knit

Yes, there is a difference.  Folks who knit have one, maybe two projects in the works.  They buy yarn on a need only basis and can actually sit on the couch and watch tv with empty hands.  Knitters tend to have several projects going so that one's hands are never empty.  TV watching?  Sweater with easy to remember cables.  Kids in bed, soft music playing?  Lace!  Visiting family?  Plain sock that can be easily picked up and put down.  Yarn is purchased at will and the knitter will envision said yarn as a finished object (FO for those in know), perfectly blocked and ready to wear.  Yarn is likely stashed in bins, closets, baskets, and yes... we are surprised at what we have in the house while hunting for that Cascade 220 you need for a felting project.

And so, I share this link with you to demonstrate the reason why I love being around knitters.  Click here and get a good laugh at a little yarn bombing done at the Port Ludlow Inn.
