The Party
Great things in the works. I wish I could start shouting them from the rooftops, but you'll have to wait!
Anyhow, we are throwing a party. A huge, happy celebration for Patrick. The kind of party he would have wanted us to throw and wouldn't have missed.
We plan on toasting his life, his legacy and his hopes and his dreams. We plan on picking up those things and making sure we do everything we can to carry that torch. To keep it burning bright and lighting the way for students of all ages.
Patrick worked in lots of ways with young kids. He played ball with so many Granby kids and South Hadley kids. He coached at the Springfield Community Center in a part of town most of us wouldn't drive through on a sunny Sunday morning. So we are trying to find a way to honor that part of his life.
Thinking about how to honor Patrick's memory, we have kicked a lot of ideas around. And the big idea that we're working on is perfect. By "we" I mean his fiancee Lierin, Kathy and the rest of us Curran's. Lierin came up with this terrific idea and I'm so excited about it. But it isn't finalized just yet. The big reveal will be at the party.
You should be there too. Everyone is invited. Come one, Come all.

Patrick loved his Irish heritage. He had tattoos all over him proclaiming that 1. He's a Curran 2. He's Irish 3. He really liked tattoos ;0)
Wear something green, bring a memory, raise a glass. Smile through it with us. There is nothing better than hearing from folks who knew Patrick. Every little memory that might not seem important to you is like getting a little piece of him back. I can't fully express how it feels, but I know we all feel that way.
The karaoke microphone will be there for those who can/can't sing and for those who just want to say a toast, share a thought or tell a story.
