While You Were Out

Check out this article. Since Katrina hit the gulf Coast another 55 of our soldiers in Iraq have died. That brings us to 1,935 men and women killed. I realize that the recent hurricanes have taken precedence on the evening news, but should I have to search for news about Iraq? Did you know that a few months ago we were told that there were 3 batallions of Iraqi soldiers trained and ready to go... but now there is really only one??

The situation is going to get much, much worse as the October 15th vote creeps up on us. Just a few days ago an explosion killed 110 Iraqi civillians.

Out of all the deaths, 55 of late, how many of thier names were even mentioned on the news? We don't even know if they were men or women, or both. What branch were they in? Did they have kids? A wife? A husband? Who are these nameless, faceless people?

If you find out, let me know.
