This is Marty. He is a 5yo Pomerainian I'm fostering. His story begins at 6 weeks when he found abandoned under a woman's porch. He had fly larvae infested into his skin and was near death, covered in blood and deemed not likely to survive.

Marty did survive. And even after being adopted twice, he is still doing pretty dang well! He is a bit fearful but he's come quite a long way. I'm helping him learn to trust people and not be so afraid of his leash, his brush, the sound of his feet on hard floors, and his collar clinking on his food dish. Marty was not treated very nicely and for some reason is giving people another chance.

He is a cuddler, a kisser and is dealing with a lot of noise at my house pretty well. If you are interested in adopting Marty, please send me an email and I will connect you with New Beginnings Dog Rescue. He isn't quite ready to go home yet, but hopefully soon!
