Stuck smiling
So, does this happen to you?
Someone holds a door open, you smile and maybe they say something funny so you're still smiling as you take a couple steps outside. You realize you are still smiling and you don't want to, but there's people around so you don't want to abruptly stop smiling. Because if you suddenly stop, the new crowd walking around will think you're mean. Now you realize you've had all these thoughts going and you're STILL grinning like a fool? And the cycle repeats, only now you're laughing because you realize that you're stuck on this topic in your mind and you still haven't stopped smiling? And now it appears frozen and forced.
