This is a diagram of how the fluid builds up and where the tube is placed. JP's eustachion tubes weren't able to handle all the fluid, so they were blocked. The fluid was just building up and up. Children often have this problem because their tubes are very tiny and actually aren't pointed this far down, they are still a bit diagonal. Pretty interesting hah?
