This is a 30ish guy who is writing a journal while his wife is in critical condition. She was fine on Halloween. Got the flu, so they thought. With in 2 days she was near death. They have no idea what is wrong, what caused it. She has fought total renal failure, liver failure, brain bleeds, you name it. Her blood pressure was so high and the meds were so brutal she is losing some fingers and maybe toes. She is mostly unresponsive.
You need to read this. Everyone needs to read it. I stumbled across it as I was reading this site called Loss of Memory.
Gain a new perspective. Say a prayer for BJ and AT and their sons. These are folks like you, like me. Who worry about bills, love their kids, try to live their dreams and get by. This man loves his wife the way all women want to be loved. This is the story about the best of all us. The human in us and the humanity in all of us. It's about our ability to carry on, to get through and most of all, to survive.
