the Whole Rosie Thing
I watched that stupid You tube clip of this supposed attack on Rosie by Eliza-whatever her name is and I just don't get it.... because she doesn't agree with Rosie about politics she is a horrible human?
Liberals, most of them, can be the MOST un-tolerant humans on the planet. Right after right-wing nut jobs and perhaps Hitler. If the Republican's great hypocrisy is their supposed beliefs in "small government" and "keeping government out of one's private life" while being anti-gay because it doesn't suit their beliefs for one hour every Sunday, then the Liberals Great Hypocrisy is that their tolerance has created in themselves an ardent inability to see the opposing side's POV.
Oh, and I read Secret Lives of Bees today. And it's a beautiful, painful and wonderfully written little book. Every Mother and every Daughter needs to read this. I was crying on page 14 and mostly through the rest of the book! Great, great book.
