The vote is Thursday. If you haven't already contacted your state senator/rep... do it today!!! We need to stop the vote! Why?

Are you married? Ever been? If you are married, how has the legality of gay marriage destroyed your home? Your family? Do you feel like your marriage means less because of the gay marriages that have been taking place for over 3 years now?

Are you divorced? Can I vote on your next marriage? In the eyes of God (and isn't that what all this is about?), divorce is just another word for adultery. In fact, according to the bible the ONLY reason a person is able to seek out a divorce is if the spouse cheats. The cheating spouse is doomed to an eternity of hellfire and any person who later a. has sex with that person or b. marries them will join them in Dante's 7th Ring.

If you are divorced for any other reason, you two crazy sinners get a burning suite in hell right next to the sulfur pits and lava room. And of course if either of you re-marry... your new spouse gets to go with you for free!!

Soooo.... you want to legislate morality a little more? It hardly stops there folks. If your marriage is so weak and so brittle that it will be destroyed by the marriage of another couple, the last thing you need to worry about is someone else's love.

Did we vote on whether black and white could marry? And if we had, would it have passed? Never before, never-ever never, have Americans voted on the denying of rights to any group of people. I absolutely cannot fathom an argument that makes sense here.

Please, if you're from Mass contact your reps and either thank them for their support or call them and beg them to continue to allow this basic human rights to ALL citizens.

We are a country who has much, much bigger issues and problems than people just trying to love one another. That's what this is about. Two people who love each other, who want to enjoy the same rights as every other couple out there who wants to take a chance. Who the hell is anyone to deny them that chance? Don't we have more important things to do than decide who can love each other?

And when you think about it that way, doesn't this whole thing seem sort of twisted and sick? Telling people to NOT be in love? Telling people they aren't good enough? That somehow being straight is the only way because hell, straight people are so great at being married? Oh, yeah... we're not. Right.

GET IN THE FIGHT!!!
